Introduction

The year was 1985, the place was planet earth. The hippie revolution was finally coming to an end, and the flippant mood and culture brought about by the "Love and Peace" forays of the hippies was finally coming to an end. As a result, hippies all over the world met and conspired to reverse this upsetting trend. They pledged to uphold the flag of the hippies high again, and once again, put an afro on everyone's head.

Governments of the triple powers of the world then, the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia met, and decided that it is time to get serious. The hippie culture, which promoted drugs, has to be exerminated. People need to get serious so that more can be done to improve the world economy. The CIA and the KGB worked on a new project, that would bring about much seriousness and technicalities. This project, was codenamed Project "Secret World of Neverending Greatness" (S.W.O.N.G)...

To that end, a cyborg was created. In order to expedite her acceptance into the human world, she was given a humanised name, Sarah Wong. However, the first initial of her name, S, combined with her surname, adds up to form Swong, the name of the abovementioned secret operation (Kan 2007). In the first few years, little progress was observed, for she was slow in coming to her powers. However, she quickly grew more serious and technical, as instructed in her programming. In fact she was programmed to absorb and process the seriousness around her, which was the key reason that the KGB (who was in charge of planting her) chose the very serious citystate of Singapore to plant her in. She quickly outgrew the seriousness of the average Singaporean Citizen.

This blog has been introduced to outline the various examples and stories observed of the Swong. Comments, ideas and suggestions are welcome.
